Sri Lanka is an island nation located in South Asia, situated in the southern part of the Indian Ocean, just 30 kilometers off the coast of India. The island is known for its natural beauty, including mountains, reservoirs, plantations, trees, a warm climate, and numerous beaches.
Sri Lanka has a diverse culture where Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism coexist. Buddhism is the main religion that has shaped the island’s history, with Colombo being the capital. The country’s official languages are Sinhala and Tamil.

The history is rich, spanning from the time of British colonization to independence in 1948. Sri Lanka is also famous for its tea production, which is in high demand in the global market.

Ayurvedic Spice Garden
The Ayurvedic spice gardens in Sri Lanka represent an important part of traditional Hindu medicine and natural health practices. The gardens grow various spices and plants used in Ayurvedic healing due to their medicinal properties. Visitors can see and purchase such plants as turmeric, ginger, olives, and other herbs that improve overall health. Tours are also organized, offering information on herbal medicine.
Dambulla Cave Temple

Agricultural Excursion in Sigiriya (Includes 3 activities):
Bullock Cart Ride: Travel by ox-drawn carts as people did in ancient times. Before the island had transport systems, Sri Lankans rarely used horses, and oxen were the common transport.
Catamaran Ride on a Lotus-Filled Lake: Enjoy a boat ride on a lake covered with trees and leaves, where you can even pick lotus flowers and enjoy the serene beauty of the lake. If lucky, you might also be able to feed crocodiles on the shore.
Cooking Workshop with Women in Traditional Attire: Women in national dress will cook several Sri Lankan dishes in an old kitchen, using stone stoves and aromatic herbs. A culinary workshop and tasting session will be held.
